National Education Data — a public registry and dashboard of verified schools across Sierra Leone.
Overview
NED is the public education intelligence layer of the LEPA ecosystem. It presents a national school registry and dashboard: schools by level, ownership, region, and district, plus browse and map views of primary, secondary, and pre-primary schools in Sierra Leone.
Problem
Education partners and the public lacked a single, current view of verified schools and coverage across Sierra Leone.
What I built
A public dashboard and school browser on top of the same national data layer schools write into through LEPA — registry, regional breakdowns, and GIS-style exploration without exposing internal school operations.
My contribution
- Shipped the public NED dashboard and school registry at ned.lepa.cc as part of the LEPA education ecosystem.
